How To Build A Horizontal Timber Slat Fence Survey The Heighth Of A Building Without Its Horizontal Distance?

Survey the heighth of a building without its horizontal distance? - how to build a horizontal timber slat fence

For the topography of class, we need a way to is the height of a portion of a building in the center of the tower to see it, (but is) not drag the horizontal distance, because there is a flat wall. Please help this cause is tomorrow and I'm struggling to find something!

You can use a triangle and triginometry to find him.

Stand in the distance.
This is the horizontal part of the triangle.
Then he saw the roof of the building.
This will determine the angle of the climb on.

Now use trig.

We have an adjacent side and angle.

So ..

Then α = W / A

Α O = A tan

The opposite would be the height of the building.

The adjacent site will be decided by you, as you walk from the building.

The angle with a protractor, where you stand on top of the building are measured.

Draw the triangle on the first conditions for the solution of the opposite side, and that's all.
